Oh!

I beat The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword this morning! It was insane. I’m really happy with the game as a whole. It might not have been my favorite Legend of Zelda, but it was by far my favorite Link.

Majora’s Mask will always have my heart.

I played so much Goddamn Zelda tonight.

Sweet Jesus. Some crazy shit just went down. I witnessed Demise’s true form and he’s fucking beastly. I’m almost at the end. I can taste it.
But now I’m super tired and kinda dizzy. Dizzy is good, right?
I think saving the world can wait one more night. 

Pros and cons of playing Zelda right now:

Cons:

  • It’s too late to start and I’ll be going to bed late.
  • I won’t be able to stop.
  • Rachel will be upset with me when I play too much.
  • I may damage my eyes.
  • Tomorrow will be exhausting.

Pros:

  • I’ll be playing Zelda and it will make me happy.

The pros outweigh the cons. Still not doing it though!

Guys. This is the ultimate test.

As you may know, I started Skyward Sward yesterday. Rachel is concerned for my health (which is actually a legitimate fear because I obsess over Zelda games and we all know it) and has asked me to limit myself to 3 hours a day. I played 2 hours already… but if I start again I won’t be able to stop myself.

I really really want to play. Like I have a hardcore need to play. Princess Zelda is missing and it is my duty, no my destiny to save her. Otherworldly shit is happening! I can’t just sit back and let it happen!

Zelda thoughts and theory

This just popped into my head… Do Ghirahim and the Fierce Deity have anything to do with each other? Some people speculate Ghirahim is the embodiment of a fourth triforce/tetraforce piece and is sealed away after Skyward Sward. It’s also a theory that the Fierce Deity has to do with the fourth piece. Some evidence to this is the single triangle on the Deity’s breast plate. Perhaps Ghirahim was sealed away into the Fierce Deity mask? The two characters do have a similar color scheme and have tetraforce background theory… There are probably a lot of holes in this. It’s just a thought.

This is what’s keeping me up at night.
