Hello, World

My name is Jake Irvin and this is where I post the things I enjoy and write what is on my mind. I was born in the Antelope Valley, California, but am currently attending Syracuse University in upstate New York as a film student. If you want to get to know me, feel free to leave me a message! I am a friendly guy.

Through the walls I can hear the faint sound of my neighbor
“Ooooh… oh God! Oo! Oh!”
And little do they know

I think my professors was rather permiscuous when she was young.

She did an art video back in the day where she took footage of bees pollinating flowers and dubbed over it with the sounds of girls organismimg and moaning and talking all sensually. She explained there is a point where a bee is “really probing that flower hard” and leaves before the flower “comes” so the flower says, “Wait! Where are you going?! …Bring your friends!” Then a whole mess of bees swarm that flower and the flower gets really happy.

She ended that part of the lecture on “Because that’s pretty much what every flower wants. A whole bunch of friends pollinating her at once.”

Everyone just kinda stared blankly at her for a while.

Lawrinson evacuations at 3:00 a.m.I feel like they’re becoming more of a hazard than anything because no one rushes anymore. By the time everyone is outside, the building would have collapsed already.

Today is the first day I feel like an actual college student.

I learned so much in all my classes and voluntarily went to an incredible interesting artist talk. The whole thing was eye opening, beautiful, and really scary. Like I’m terrified and excited about technology’s affect on humanity within the next 30 years.
Anyway, it took a while, but I finally get it. I’m in college now.

Also, I made some advancement in growing up (rather important). During lunch I referred to myself as a teenager and realized I am not one anymore. I am a 20 year old with a paycheck. That was an odd revolution. I also just stated to my roommate, “I’m not staying long, I have a work meeting in an hour.”

Today’s been an emotional rollercoaster.
