I made my mom cry tonight.
I suggested we better our eating habits by purchasing the same general snack items (oven pizzas and stuff like that), but switch to products which contain better ingredients and less added crap (nitrates, nitrites, artificial coloring, high fructose corn syrup, etc). She got legitimately upset with me because I was taking away “our thing” and “tradition.” After more debate...

So I got this app on my iPhone...
It’s called ShopWell. It helps you keep track of what you’re eating and its main feature is a barcode scanner which tells you how good for you a product is in relation to your personal goals.
I scanned everything in my kitchen. Everything is terrible for me. All I can eat now is Greek yogurt and canned tomatoes. Dear God I need to go grocery shopping.

Wes Anderson's "Moonrise Kingdom"
It was amazing. I loved it. It felt more adult than a lot of his other films and the last 45 minutes were especially intense. It was short, sweet, and heartfelt. I highly suggest it.

I had such a magnificent day!
Got up early and drove to Hollywood with my parents and Rachel.
Had Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles. Rachel and I had a number 13 each: 1 succulent breast and 1 delicious waffle. We had macaroni on the side and dipped out chicken and waffles in hot sauce. No fucks were given.
Visited Amoeba Music.
Saw Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom! It was awesome!
