Today
After church today, Rachel and I got a quick but filling lunch at Fire Island Grill, then went off to Acton to help her parents finish loving everything out of their old house. They are currently moving out of a big, beautiful Victorian filled to the brim with one of a kind antiques and things. It was hot out and hard work, but we managed to make it work with a smile or two.

Jake is teaching my sister and me “5 Years Time” by Noah and the Whale so we can all play it together. Jake is on guitar, Hannah plays keyboard and whistles, and I got the glockenspiel, tambourine, and egg shaker. When we sing, Hannah and I harmonize on the backing vocals really well. Jake, of course, is stellar at singing lead.
I can’t wait to have the song down and have it all come...

We’re covering 5 Years Time for the church talent show and our first practice went super well! I’m impressed. Rachel’s on glockenspiel and tambourine and Hannah is on keyboard. She has amazing pitch. Oh my god.

When I wrote my script for The Syndicate I essentially just threw a bunch of random shit together and altered it again and again until it made sense. Maybe I should try that, but with lyrics.
