The Work in Progress at UCLA
was very good. I saw some pretty talented students and some… no so talented haha
But Kayla did very well! She did three dances, each of which I enjoyed. It was especially nice just seeing her for the first time since Sunday. After, her family and I went to lunch, then drove home.

(Also, I didn’t get any good pictures… my replacement camera din’t work well...

The desert I live in was on fire last night
Literally, not figuratively. There were fires right outside my town and a lot of people I know were evacuated. Luckily no one was hurt and very little was damaged.
The sky was illuminated with a red an orange glow as ashes fell from the sky like snowflakes. I counted the firetrucks speeding by, seven at a time. Firetrucks from all around: Glendale, Pasadena, Manhattan Beach, Burbank, Montclair,...
My girlfriend, Kayla
has been at UCLA the past week working her legs off in her dance class and I will be attending her Work In Progress today with her parents. I am extremely proud of her and can’t wait to see her beautiful face.

I am terrified
of college applications. Any time I look up a college or things to help me get accepted, whatever, I feel like I’m going to throw up. It’s intimidating. Especially because the criteria seems so impossible to meet.
I really don’t think I have what it takes to get anywhere I want to go.
I was made captain
of my high school’s Cross Country team last week along with my friend Jeremy and another runner Jeo. I’ve been working toward this goal since Freshman year, so I’m feeling really good about myself.
I was told recently
that the San Diego music festival Street Scene would not be happening this year. So I looked it up and it is true.
And so, Jacob was a very sad boy.
Maybe I can go to Fuck Yeah Fest instead…
